K-8 Curriculum

Atlanta Prep utilizes a variety of programs and multisensory methods to meet the varied learning requirements of students in reading and language arts. The programs encompass: Fundations®, Fireflies Funshine Express®, Wilson Reading System®, Heggerty®, Fountas and Pinnell® Literacy, and Reading A to Z®.

Atlanta Prep utilizes the Eureka® Math curriculum as its primary tool for mathematics instruction. This educational approach is designed to systematically build upon the students’ existing knowledge, fostering a comprehensive understanding of mathematical concepts. The ultimate goal is not simply impart the procedure of problem-solving, but also to help students comprehend the “why” behind these procedures, thereby enhancing their overall mathematical literacy.

Students enrolled at Atlanta Prep engage in daily Physical Education and Art classes. Participation in Physical Education fosters both physical and psychological advantages, while Art stimulates a child’s creativity and offers a non-verbal means of expression.
